Description:

Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer and sold over 3 million vehicles worldwide in 2016.

They are looking to recruit a HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join them as soon as possible based from their UK Head Office in Coventry.

This role is to cover maternity leave for approximately 12 months.

The role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a generalist HR service to the Management, Staff and Manual employees based at the Coventry site.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on all Employee Relations matters

  • Ensure all Employee Relations issues are dealt with in line with company policies and procedures

  • Managing disciplinary, capability and grievance issues, chairing meetings, investigations and settlement agreements

  • Provide Employee Relations Advisory support to the business as a whole

  • Advise the business on redundancy and TUPE

  • Management of relocation processes

  • Management of HR reporting

  • Administration and support of Trade Union and Employee


Qualifications:


  • Degree educated or appropriate experience.  

  • Due to the length of the placement, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a HR role is essential.

  • Candidates will be CIPD qualified, or equivalent, and have a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Have experience in dealing with complex HR issues. 

  • Be a team player possessing excellent planning and communication skills, as well as being numerate and highly literate. 

  • Able to multi-task, be a self-starter, demonstrate resilience and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
