The Business Support Assistant will provide day to day support and assistance to the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Operations and Senior Vice President Clinical and Regulatory in a fast-paced environment. This is a demanding and varied role and requires someone who is efficient, has a sense of urgency and a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.

This position will be based from their UK office in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
 

Role and Responsibilities

Contribute to company communication strategy via multiple channels internally and externally. Responsibilities include:

  • Social media and website content:Produce a wide variety of communication content ranging from writing simple communications content on social media (e.g. announcements on LinkedIn), new company content for website and other simple external communications
  • Intranet development: Manage set up of new company intranet organising, populating and keeping/ coordinating corporate information
  • Conference management: Coordinate content for scientific conference and organising potential company stands and symposia at conferences
  •  Meetings and events: Co-ordinate clinical/medical/regulatory and strategy external meetings and events with key stakeholders

The incumbent is also expected to provide day to day support and assistance to the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Operations and Senior Vice President Clinical and Regulatory. The responsibilities will include:

  • SVP diary management, travel arrangements and expenses
  • Co-ordinates management and team meetings including preparation of agenda, room booking, greeting visitors
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified preferably in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Media or Life Sciences
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills and proof-reading ability deployable across a broad range of channels from formal letters, website updates to LinkedIn post writing.
  • Identifying and managing an ongoing schedule of LinkedIn posts. Reviewing analytics available and adjusting future posts.
  • Technical aptitude and experience working with CMS’s (content management systems) (e.g. SharePoint, Umbraco, WordPress etc)
  • Planning preference, self-motivated, solution orientated and able to organise own workload
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.  
  • Relationship builder with the ability to work with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
